Kiroro Ski Area

Located in Hokkaido, the Kiroro Ski Area is known for its exceptional powder snow and long ski season, often lasting from November to May. This domain offers a quieter, less crowded alternative to other Japanese ski resorts, with a variety of runs for all skill levels.
Club Med operates two resorts in this domain: Club Med Kiroro Peak, tailored for adults and older teens, and Club Med Kiroro Grand, which is more family-friendly. Both offer ski-in/ski-out access, lift passes, and group lessons included in the all-inclusive package.

Tomamu Ski Area

The Hoshino Resorts Tomamu ski domain, also in Hokkaido, features wide-open slopes, scenic trails, and plenty of activities beyond skiing, such as the Ice Village and Japan's largest indoor wave pool.

How far are the alps resorts from the US ?

Traveling from the U.S. to Club Med’s Alps resorts typically takes around 11 to 15 hours in total, including a connecting flight to a nearby European airport and ground transfer.
For Val Thorens, Les Arcs Panorama, Peisey-Vallandry, and La Plagne, the nearest airports are Geneva, Lyon, and Chambery, with transfer times ranging from approximately 1 hour 45 minutes (from Chambery) to about 2 hours 45 minutes (from Geneva).
Alpe d’Huez is best accessed via Grenoble (around 1 hour 30 minutes), Lyon, or Chambery (both about 2 hours), and offers a convenient 5-minute shuttle to the town center.
For Tignes and Val d’Isère, Geneva, Lyon, and Chambery are again the main gateways, with transfer times ranging from 2 hours 15 minutes to 3 hours.
Lastly, Grand Massif Samoëns Morillon is closest to Geneva Airport, just 1 hour 10 minutes away, and features a 10-minute gondola that links the resort to the nearby village of Samoëns.

Does Club Med offer a shuttle to the resorts?

For those who arrange their own flights, Club Med can also pick you up at the airport/train station of your choice and drive you to the resort.*

At Alpe d’Huez, the resort is perched at 1,860 meters and offers direct ski access, with a quick 5-minute shuttle connecting guests to the town center.
