Changbaishan China

This was easily one of the best resort experiences I’ve ever had. General Manager Janly and her team host the resort with incredible energy and enthusiasm. A huge thank you to the Mini Club GOs, who took wonderful care of my child—she absolutely loved all the activities, especially the outdoor ones!

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the vibe at Club Med Changbaishan. Our only minor issue stemmed from guest behavior, such as unsupervised children and adults smoking in the Mahjong room.

We spent a week at Club Med Changbaishan last December, and our child still talks about it, saying it was the best vacation ever. A huge thank you to Deri, the Entertainment Manager, and his team for their thoughtful daily activities and attentive care for the kids – they made sure our little one had loads of fun while feeling completely safe. Also, special thanks to Ann, the Sports Manager, who was exceptionally responsible, always prioritizing safety during skiing.Amy, the Housekeeping Manager, she is so helpful when kid getting sick, did everything possible to help, which made us feel so cared for while far from home

I truly enjoyed my stay at Club Med Changbaishan. I appreciated the resort’s effort to incorporate local Dongbei dishes, and the overall food variety was excellent. The cleanliness was outstanding as well—the housekeeping team ensured my room was always tidy whenever I stepped out. The GOs were friendly and made my stay feel cosy and welcoming.
The beginner snowboard coaches were great—patient, encouraging, and very helpful. However, I feel that more coaches should be assigned to the “beginner with experience” group. After completing the first-day zero‑experience class, all guests move into this category, and there were times when nearly 10 guests were sharing one coach, making it a bit challenging.
As for the room, because of the central heating, it felt too warm at times. I often had to leave the balcony door open to cool down.

The whole stay is wonderful
Signed up the skiing lesson for 3 days.
The lesson is well organised. Instructors are very patient and well explained.
This place is good for children to learn skiing.
Food wise is not too bad especially the hotpot.

Excellent ski equipment for rental. Lessons all free. Many gentle slopes available. Resort is the newest among the 3 ClubMed China skiing resort.
