An all-inclusive holiday in the Dominican Republic means taking it easy and slowing down the pace. After a swim in the turquoise waters of the Hoyo Azul cenote, head for Punta Cana beach and enjoy a tasty plantain banana soup called sancocho, or a marinated lobster. With renewed energy courtesy of your tasty meal, treat yourself to a round of golf at Corales, while enjoying the calming sound of the waves that meet the shore just a few metres from the green.

Discover Laguna del Limon

Laguna del Limon is an impressive ecological reserve that boasts a remote stretch of beach, thick mangrove forests, abundant tropical birdlife and plantations of native coffee, tobacco and cacao plants. Visitors to the reserve often explore either by foot or horseback, host picnics at the beach, and stop by the area’s ecotourism lodge where they can learn more about the area’s natural habitat. Plantation tours also offer visitors the chance to learn about how cacao, coffee and tobacco are harvested. Participants can even roll their own cigars with fresh tobacco. The reserve and its surrounding locales are a fantastic day-trip from either Club Med’s Punta Cana or Michès locations.
