Cancún Mexico

This is a pretty nice resort overall. It is great if you have kids given their kids programming and keeping your kids active and not just putting them in front of a TV as well as their time where they do have the kids club during dinner hours from 7:00 to 9:00 so you can get some couples time alone. There are some things though that surprised me for the price point such as how firm the beds are and the reactivity of service overall versus the proactivity of service I've been used to in Mexico at resorts at this price point. The bar staff was good in general and one of the highlights of the entire experience there. The wait staff really varies by who you get as far as in the buffets. One thing to know is that you will need to request almost everything when dining as rarely will they ask to refill your drink or things of that nature. We only had one way there during our time there in a week that really was proactive and asking if we wanted anything and keeping our drinks filled. Food is good in the buffets for an all-inclusive. It is a little unique though because there is a hotline like a traditional Buffet but then they have other stations where they make items for you that are already pre-plated usually so it can become difficult if you want one of those and something from the hotline you end up needing to carry a couple of plates. The beach is definitely one of the highlights here as it is fairly Steep and not the long gradual beaches that you find further south in the Mayan Riviera but the sand is beautiful and the water is very clear. The beach near the main lobby did not have any seaweed at all while we were there because of how the Long Point juts out in front of it it stays very protected from any seaweed. On the other side of the resort near aquamarina there's a lot of grass in the water so there is limited sand as you walk out into the water however there is some decent snorkeling along that sand. The rooms have a good layout for family if you stay in the aquamarina family style rooms depending if you prefer one or two bathrooms for your family. However the AC goes to 65 degrees but the 65° F on the thermostat feels nothing like 65° on the thermostat in your home as I would say it is closer to 73 or 74 in our room and I did Reach Out multiple times to the maintenance staff about it as with the beds being hard and the pillows not being very comfortable I was hoping the room would be nice and cool as the bedding was nice but it was warm enough we could sleep with a little to no bedding on top of us.

Club Med never disappoints, and this felt like our best vacation yet! The kids (9 and 6 years old) had a blast at kids club, and we are especially grateful to Leo, Fabiola, Sammy, and Pierre for making their vacation extra special and fun. Our favorite activity was, by far, the trapeze. The circus team, Maude, Victoria, Angel, and Cooper, were great teachers and very patient with kids and adults alike. Their talents go far beyond trapeze, and their Thursday night show is not to be missed! It was the best performance of the week and worth keeping the kids up past bedtime for.

Our accommodations in Aguamarina were very comfortable and convenient to the pool and splash/waterslide area. The food was delicious, and every employee we met was friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

We love coming to Club Med every year and this is one of our favorite locations! We stayed in Aguamarina and it was perfect for our family and friends. We love this property and staff: the amazing beaches/coastline, food, scuba diving, amenities, spa/massages, and the phenomenal circus team. The major upgrades with the new Mini Club and Waterpark are fantastic. We cannot say enough great things about Maude, Victoria, Cooper, and Angel from the circus team! The scuba diving is also amazing – thanks to Paco for making the dives highly enjoyable and to Monica for helping to organize! Thanks to Antonita and Candy for some of the best deep tissue massages we have ever had, and Julio for helping us book! Overall, this is an amazing resort in the Caribbean perfect for both relaxing and family fun with incredible value. We cannot wait to come back.

We had a fantastic stay at this resort! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—always friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options that catered to every taste. The ambiance was equally impressive—elegant, relaxing, and thoughtfully designed to create a true escape. The only downside for us was the heat in June—it was a bit too intense to fully enjoy the outdoor spaces. But overall, a wonderful experience we won’t forget!

Club Med Cancun far exceeded our expectations for an all inclusive resort! We are an active family with a 10 and 13 year old. There was never a dull moment on this trip! Our highlights were the foam party, all the sports activities, the delicious food and drink and friend staff! Not to mention the stunning location! So spacious and the resort is clean and safe!
