Cancún Mexico

My sister invited me to Club Med Cancun in June. I was very worried after reading reviews from people saying that the beaches were full of seaweed, the hotel was under construction, and that it was very noisy. We got back yesterday, and I can't say enough good things about this hotel.

One thing that really surprised me was that everyone recommends Taco Arte restaurant. I believe Taco Arte is not the best choice if you're looking for a great breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The restaurant to visit is Le Estancia. The manager, Alfredo, and the waiter, Victor, are amazing. The food is delicious, and there is no need to get up from your seat to get your food from the buffet. The way they treat their customers is very impressive.

The entertainment at this hotel is incredible.

The rooms are perfect. Even though we stayed in the non-renovated rooms, they were excellent. I can only imagine how nice they will be once they are renovated.

The buffet offers a huge variety of food. However, I noticed that some parents do not supervise their children properly, and I saw several kids touching food and then putting it back. It was absolutely disgusting. However, this is not an issue with the hotel, as they are doing their best to keep everything perfectly clean.

The beach is simply perfect. We walked along the ocean every day and felt completely safe.

If you want a relaxing vacation, this would be the perfect hotel.

The only thing I noticed is that the hotel is so beautiful, quiet, organized, and clean that it doesn't really feel like you're in Mexico. So, if you are looking for a traditional Mexican experience, I don't think this is the hotel for you. However, if you are looking for a relaxing, secure, and perfect vacation, this is the place to be.

This was our second Club Med vacation, and at this point, Club Med has truly captured our hearts when it comes to family travel.
Club Med Cancun is not a 5-star luxury resort in the traditional sense. The resort itself feels somewhat dated, and even though we stayed in Aguamarina, the newer family section, the furniture and room finishes were a bit underwhelming. That said, the stunning ocean views more than made up for it. As a family of five, having a separate room and bathroom for our three daughters was a huge benefit and made the stay much more comfortable.

But what makes Club Med special, however, has very little to do with the rooms. The magic is in the people, the atmosphere, and the Club Med experience itself. This is the only resort vacation we've taken ever where we enjoy and look forward to spending our days playing sports and taking classes, rather than simply sitting by the pool or beach all day. There is a genuine sense of connection that is hard to describe until you experience it.

Our daughters absolutely loved the Kids Club. From the 5 year old to the teenagers! Typically they avoid kids clubs at other resorts, but. not here. Club Med vacations have been quite literally where i've actually had tears, dripping down their faces thinking of how much they were going to miss their GOs and friends. The teenagers by the end of the trip, they were happily ditching us to have dinner and spend time with their new friends and the Kids Club team. A special shoutout goes to Sender, the GO for the teens. He was absolutely fantastic. Our girls adored him. His energy, enthusiasm, and ability to connect with the teens made a huge impact on their experience.

We were also happy to see Theo, the Chief of Village, whom we had previously met at Club Med Michès. He is exceptional at what he does. He is present, approachable, attentive, and genuinely makes guests feel heard and cared for.

At the bars, Tino stood out for his friendliness and attentiveness. Every interaction with him was a pleasure.

What we love most about Club Med is the balance it creates. We felt active, healthy, relaxed, and connected all at once. As parents, we also got something that can be hard to find on a family vacation: time together as a couple. Overall, we loved our stay. We are giving Club Med Cancun 4 stars because the resort itself could definitely benefit from updates and renovations, and I missed having a good cup of coffee during the entire week I stayed. But the incredible staff, activities, food, and community atmosphere more than compensate for that.

We have officially become repeat Club Med guests and are already looking forward to planning our next one!

I loved my experience in club med overall I loved the teen club and hanging out with sender even tho his English wasn’t the best and he doesn’t deserve to have the American flag on his badge because of the amount of grammar mistakes he made and all those times I had to correct him because no one Knew what he was saying especially the dance when we all messed up so badly because of his lack of communication through the English language ( he basically can’t give directions) other than that I had fun!
