Club Med: A Pioneer in Commitment
The more happiness is shared, the more it grows...
This belief led to the creation of the Club Med Foundation in 1978. With almost 50 years of history, it is one of the oldest corporate foundations. As a trailblazer, it was among the first to promote employee engagement in solidarity initiatives and the recycling of decommissioned equipment to benefit associations.
After pioneering employee engagement, the Club Med Foundation continues to innovate by developing new forms of solidarity that involve not only the time and skills of its teams but also the entire Club Med value chain. This benefits local associations through financial support, supplier involvement, donations of materials or vacations, the lending of infrastructure, and the engagement of both employees and customers.
The foundation focuses its efforts on two priority areas—youth and the environment—working with key partners located near Club Med sites, chosen for the effectiveness of their actions.
•Youth: Education and recreation for vulnerable youth
•Environment: Biodiversity protection
