Sanitary conditions are generally good in China, but don't forget to check all the necessary formalities before departure.
Mandatory vaccinations:
Yellow fever (this vaccination is mandatory if you arrive in China from an area where yellow fever is endemic).

Hepatitis A and B
Typhoid
Meningitis A and C is recommended for regions close to Mongolia
Rabies and Japanese encephalitus.
We recommend you avoid contact with live birds. Tap water in China is not drinking water; we recommend you drink mineral water. The Resort has an infirmary.
Yanshan Hospital (for minor problems) is 15 minutes away.
Guilin has two other hospitals: Nan Xi Schan Hospital and 181 Hospital, around one hour's drive from the Resort.
The State Department’s Office of American Citizens Services and Crisis Management (ACS) administers the Consular Information Program, which informs the public of conditions abroad that may affect their safety and security. Country Specific Information, Travel Alerts, and Travel Warnings are vital parts of this program.
