Grace Bay Beach is the best in the Caribbean! Club Med is the place to be if you enjoy lots of sports and activities and interacting with a fantastic vibrant young staff (the GOs)

So many things to do. This is a resort for the active minded people. Tennis, pickleball, yoga, fitness, swimming, kayaking, sailing, SUP boards, enjoying the amazing soft sandy beaches, soccer/football pitch and great entertainment. Sleeping is easy to do after a full day of activities and amazing food. Quality of the food is top notch. Healthy, fresh and lots of variety.

We celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary here, and I will tell you - there are so many naysayers who say things like this place is "outdated" or the "rooms are bare bones" or it's "adult camp".
No. It's an amazing value and an absolutely beautiful place in every way! You're barely in your room, you should be enjoying the incredible stretch of Grace Bay Beach and using the pool (which is open 24 hours BTW, although not heated... BRRR!).
Being all inclusive, you don't have to worry about walking or driving or taking a taxi to eat breakfast lunch and dinner daily, what a stress and a way to detract from what's supposed to be a relaxing vacation.
The vibe at Turkoise was so laid back - I mean... leave your stuff on a chair and go eat or to the bar and no one is going to mess with anything. Comfortable, fairly quiet during the day, fun - pool work out, tennis, pickleball, volley ball, bocce ball and the trapeze. Was very fun to watch people try it out and watch the performers do what they do for shows.
And White Night included all you can eat Crab Legs and Shrimp and Shellfish - yes please. YES!!
You can pay a huge fortune to have all those things all over Provo, or you can relax and unwind and have all those things at Club Med. And yes, they have conch fritters too, and the fish tacos at Sharkies were awesome.
All the drinks you want, if that's your thing and that beach... did I mention the beach? Incredible. Yes, Club Med for the Win. Would 100% stay at another CM again- I see you South Africa.

Club Med on Trip Advisor

We returned to Club Med Turkoise in early November, having been there many times. We go there for many reasons, including the incredible beach, the direct flight from the Toronto area, and the weather.

But we primarily go to Club Med Turkoise because of the people. We have made some great friends there (in the pool, snorkeling, pickleball, at the bar, crazy signs, etc.). Reconnecting and sharing experiences with them are big parts of the overall attraction of this resort for us.

The staff are also very good and are another reason we go every year.

Some of the staff (GOs) really stood out. Elyse in land sports exemplifies the Club Med brand with her energy, enthusiasm and ability to connect with GMs on land and water, alike. Other GOs also stood out: Alexi (animation); Jacqueline (fitness); Kyle (sports director); Ibrahim, Raquel, Andrea, Tanya, and Jackson (bar service); Rapha and Graydon (water sports); Blake (choreographer); Luciana & Ruth (reception); Lidia, Carmen and Jean (restaurant); and all of the housekeeping staff. The food continues to be wonderful - at the main restaurant and Sharkey's (beach grill).

Nicolas, the Chef de Village (“CdV”), manages an excellent team and seems nice. But he is much less present throughout the resort than other CdVs we’ve met over 25+ years of going to Club Med. And the rooms are tired. We really hope Club Med invests more money in this wonderful resort, especially in air conditioning and plumbing.

That said, we absolutely plan to return next year to CM Turkoise. It is a special place.
