This experience at club med charlevoix was absolutely amazing. My daughter and I had an exhilarating time mountain biking, swimming, and more. We want to give a special thanks to a few people that made this experience even better! Marion, Jaime, and William at the exclusive collection were truly a joy to be around. In addition our mountain biking instructors Ariel and Sean brought a lot of energy when riding the mountain! Thank you!

LOCATION: Exceptional location site and accessible in less than 2 hours from Quebec city.

ATMOSPHERE: This is a Club Meb and by definition a very pleasant stay. From the Village Chief all the way down to the maintenance staff, we had pleasant conversation with all of the we encountered.

ROOMS: We had reserved 2 suites for our stay. The first one was a family suite and the second one a standard suire. Both were impecable and clean. We never asked to have our bed turned for the night but to our suprise the staff did it for us. We very much appreciated that small gesture.

VALUE: We took the summer deal (20% off) to make this reservation and we saved around 1,500$ off the regular price for both suites.

CLEANLINESS: We are seasoned travelers and we haved stayed in alot of highly rated hotels only to find the cleanliness to less than desirable state. Club Med Charlevois is nothing like that if not you constantly see staff members engaged in making the experience very much agreable and clean.

NOISE LEVEL: We slept "like a log". There is no noise in the rooms that you can hear coming from the 5th floor theater area. The only noise you hear is coming from the outside, when you leave the patio doors open for the fresh night breeze coming from the mountain side.

SERVICES: We did not use any of the services available during our stay with the exception of the WiFi and food services.

AMENITIES: Club Meb Charlevois has all the standard amenities of a major hotel group. Mobility Accessible for wheelchair to Service Dogs.

There is one person that did more for us in 3 days than anyone could have done in a week, if we had stayed that long. Her name is Marion Legrand, this exceptional woman has gone above and beyond for my family and my guests that travelled with us, than anyone could have done. We are world travellers and we do ask alot from the staff we meet, but never have we seen the level of competence as this woman has displayed not only in answering our questions but in giving us the tools we needed to make our guests welcomed. She took our challenged head on and answered present every time. We simply would not have been able to do this without her help.

My husband, two toddlers, and I had a great experience at Club Med Charlevoix during the summer season. This review is specifically for families with little kids considering Charlevoix for a family vacation.

We stayed in an Exclusive Collection family suite on the top floor of the main building, which was quiet (no external noise, there is some room-to-room noise within the suite) and spacious enough to spread out our kids, who have different bedtimes. The non-EC rooms have a baby feeding room accessible 24/7 to people staying in those areas. We did not have access to that in EC, which would have been a bigger deal if our kids were still bottle feeding or if I had been pumping.

Family experience:
-Our baby liked her bubble baths in the giant tub outfitted with bath seat.
-Very much appreciated the toddler potty left in our room and small kid toilets/sinks in the family bathrooms throughout the resort.
-Main dining hall had pouches, jarred baby food, toddler proof plates and utensils, high chairs with and without trays, and a milk fridge with multiple options. Our kids are currently voracious eaters without dietary restrictions, but I noted that foods like pancakes, yogurt, pizza (genuinely good, handmade pizza!), hamburgers, rice, plainly prepared meat, and plain pasta were always on offer. There were always gluten free and vegan meals and desserts (my husband is lactose intolerant, he thought these were really good), and every dish was labeled for common allergens.
-Our daughters were in the Baby and Petite Clubs on multiple days. They had a good time, liked the staff (thank you Lilou, Kililane, Maelie and Lea!), napped well, and ate well in their care. We saw the Petite Club one day when no other kids had yet arrived, it's a beautiful space.
-Staff throughout the resort and the Le Massif guides/operators we encountered were great with small children. We took our 2yo up the mountain on the chairlift because the cable car was unexpectedly out of service. We did not have a baby carrier with us but the lift operator at the bottom had one on hand.
-My 2yo LOVED the circus lessons and the wading pool with a few splash pad elements.

Probably my only parent gripe—and this wouldn’t be an issue for families whose kids know how to sleep in—is that there is no breakfast available before 7AM and we were not able to get a high chair for our room. So we just fed the 1yo her first course in the bathtub and then hosed her off in time for breakfast.

We loved this for the last 4 nights of our 10 day family vacation. Our kids loved the kids club, and the view and ambiance is beautiful and relaxing. There’s just not a ton of activities to fill your time as an adult unless you are going to take several exercise classes each day. We had two days of rain so we were stuck inside and there’s no ping pong or pool tables, or anything like that to kill some time. I highly recommend it for a relaxing few days. We will absolutely come back for that! But more than a few days would get boring. Our kids loved the kids club though and would have stayed all summer if we could have!

This was our first ever trip to a Club Med- June 12-15. We splurged on the Exclusive collection and were not disappointed! As slightly overweight, out of shape, anglophone 50-somethings, we weren’t sure whether Club Med Quebec Charlevoix would be a good fit for us. But we were greeted warmy by Marion, who ably explained (in English) all our Exclusive perks and showed us to our room. In the Exclusive lounge we enjoyed Willyam’s cheerful, friendly (but not intrusive) manner, his impeccable English, delicious cocktails, and embodiment of the Club Med spirit - his obvious love for his job helped make our time on the 8th floor delightful! Everywhere the food was absolutely delicious, healthy & fresh, with great variety. The evening shows were fun and featured the GOs dancing, lip syncing, and even on trapeze! Benjamin & Denise and the other GOs on the 8th floor were helpful and courteous, and we thoroughly enjoyed our first Club Med experience. We plan to return soon!
