Michès Playa Esmeralda Dominican Republic

After getting through Customs at the Punta Cana airport, I was greeted by Dany from Club Med who whisked me out of the airport to my transfer vehicle for the hour and 45 minute journey to Club Med Miches.

Upon arrival I was greeted by a few GO's, including Theo, CDV, Julie, RDM and Enock (who I had a number of meals and lots of laughs with).

The highlight of the trip was the wonderful tennis team led by Juan Carlos, Johnathan and Roman. They are all excellent players, very encouraging and caring when we played matches or during lessons.

However, the tennis experience could have been improved with:
-some mesh windscreens around the fencing to stop the balls from going through fence and into the ditches surrounding the courts
-refrigerated water dispenser rather than just filtered dispenser
-some overhead fans in the clubhouse to provide air circulation
-small fridge to hold cold wet towels for after tennis
-some fresh whole fruit like bananas, apples, oranges, etc.

I had a great massage at the Spa with Crismary and highly recommend her. Lilou and Meleida of the Spa were very friendly and helpful.

Kudos to the following GO's who all contributed to making my stay so enjoyable: Abhi, Lenny, Jalal, Acir, Alejandro, Jhonny, Kathy, Johnathan, Kervens, Michelle, Malaurie and Adonys.

Thanks again to Theo for building such a wonderful team of GO's and always checking on me to make sure I was enjoying my stay!

We had a great time in this club this passing week. The GOs are fun and attentive. The food is amazing, creative, fresh, and high quality. The rooms are new and comfortable. What was even more amazing was the kids and sport services. To be specific, the following GOs were professional, kind, friendly, respectful, and made kids/ teens feel included : Cassidy, Iara, Juliette, and Chedelie ( Kids club), Jalal and Alan (sports GOs)
The one caveat was the circus ( flying trapeze) team. At least two members were talking to the kids in a condescending and humiliating way. Once they realized a parent is there, they completely changed their tone and way of conversation…
I understand how they might thought they are joking with the kids, but from a parent/ adult point of view it was not respectful and excluding.

The most wonderful experience, 10 days of peaceful and enjoying, the restaurant 10/10, the food and the service is the jewel in the crown, thanks a lot to Chef Lenny and Chef Darwin, was a best vacations for me.

An absolute gem!
Miches is truly a hidden paradise. The entire resort is well maintained everything is spotless and perfectly kept. The beach is just stunning: crystal-clear water, not a single piece of seaweed, and peaceful all around. The sunsets are absolutely magical.

We stayed in a suite with a private plunge pool more like a small, apartment than a hotel room. It was spacious, quiet, and perfect for relaxing.

The pool area is fabulous, and the vibe at the resort is both fun and serene. A special mention to the G.O.s they are truly outstanding. The G.O. from the teen Club Luna was beyond incredible she really understands how to connect with teens and bring them together. The sports G.O. Marie was also amazing and full of positive energy.

The reception team Marine was equally welcoming and helpful. From start to finish, the whole experience was flawless. Can’t wait to return!

I checked most of the reviews before deciding to book here. I had friends that strongly recommended the place but i was a bit skeptical as I saw the reviews that appeared too good to be true, including mentioning specific employees by name.

I was blown away by this place. The amazing service is almost unheard of. The staff was just excellent, attentive to every detail, friendly and with a smile around every corner. This place must be staffed ONLY with individuals who truly love what they do. Everyone we encountered really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was no less than amazing.

From the attentions at check in, restaurants, pool area, kids area to even the pool lifeguards, everyone was just excellent.

The food in the buffet was great, but the “a la carte” menu and service were superb.

If your goal is to find a place where you are truly catered to by people who love what they do, relax and has some fun with great cuisine, look no further, the amazing team at club med in Miches will not disappoint.
