Caravelle Guadeloupe - French Caribbean

Exceptional Club Med, but it depends what you describe as exceptional. For myself it was the staff service, the quality of the food, the location, the general friendly atmosphere and attention to customers.

If you are a negative person by nature, you will find something to complain about. If you are an entitled person, you will say things like for the price I paid, I expected better. If you are a person that is open, positive and flexible, you will say this is a beautiful place, and only a handful of human beings can pay the price for paradise. This is obviously only my 2 cents, but I did pay 3100 CAD, so it's worth all of it also :-) !!!

So I'd say don't evaluate on the petty, negative, entitled comments that you see reported here. But come here based on your capacity to find beauty and you will have zero problems finding it here.

It’s absolutely worth it! Club Med La Caravelle is one of the best choices for families with children. We found a warm and friendly atmosphere thanks to all the staff, who are always helpful and smiling.
The food is delicious, with so many options and extremely fresh fish. The ice creams and pastries are particularly good. The all-inclusive package offers a great variety of cocktails and drinks. There are tons of activities, all free and suitable for both adults and kids — you never get bored!
The beachfront location is ideal, perfect for relaxing and refreshing your mind. The rooms were always spotlessly clean thanks to the impeccable housekeeping service.
A special thank you to Santo, restaurant assistant: always happy, professional, and extremely attentive to every need. Heartfelt thanks also to Gianfranco, Chef Domenico, and the pastry team, especially Chef Mattia and Eleonora, for their delicious ice creams and sweets and for their daily kindness.
We will definitely return to Club Med La Caravelle with the whole family! A place that leaves sweet memories.

Our stay at Club Med La Caravelle was truly unforgettable and without a doubt one of the best family vacations we have ever experienced.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. The entire team worked tirelessly to create a relaxing and friendly atmosphere, making us feel at home throughout our stay.

The dining experience was outstanding, thanks to the attentive and cheerful restaurant staff who consistently delivered excellent service. Every meal was a delight, with a great variety of delicious dishes prepared to a very high standard.

There was never a dull moment thanks to the incredible entertainment, beach, and sports teams. Their enthusiasm, professionalism, and dedication ensured that both adults and children had an amazing time every day, with plenty of activities and memorable experiences to enjoy.

A very special thank you goes to Santo for his kindness, elegance, and positive energy that made every interaction a pleasure. We would also like to express our gratitude to Chef Domenico and his talented kitchen team, Chef Mattia and Eleonora for their exceptional pastry creations, and Gianfranco F&Bfor his valuable contribution. Their passion and commitment played a major role in making our holiday so special.

The entire staff was exceptional: from the warm welcome at reception, to the restaurant with its always attentive and smiling service, the fun and energetic entertainment team, right through to the beach staff and sports activities team. Every department contributed to making our experience unforgettable, with great attention to detail and high professionalism.

A wonderful and peaceful place, ideal for escaping anxiety and worries. In addition to the beautiful excursions typical of Guadeloupe, the entire facility is at guests’ full disposal.

An amazing staff, made up of both locals and foreigners, always ready to provide information and interesting facts about the area, making every moment even more special.

A special thanks to Santo, the restaurant assistant: kind, helpful, and friendly. He responded to every need and has almost become a friend.

Thanks also to all the kitchen team, especially Eleonora, a fantastic ice cream maker, and Mattia, the head pastry chef, for his excellent desserts.
