Turkoise Turks and Caicos

I had an amazing vacation at Club Med Turks and Caicos. The resort was great, the food and entertainment were amazing, but what truly made this vacation spectacular was the awesome GO's. The best of the best and the top 4 GO's were: Alexiy, Manu (sp) from Brasil and did water aerobics, and both Java and Tim at Sailing. These 2 Sailing GO's were awesome, always around, worked day and night and had the true GO Spirit. Gentlemen, thanks for all the volleyball and thanks for always smiling, saying hi to everyone and always being available around the bar, you guys rock. And of course, Turks wouldn't be Club Med without Alexy and Manu, you were awesome. I might just have to come back in a few weeks to hang with all you all again. Keep up the great job and I can't wait to see you guys again.

I am exgo. I previously worked for the club for 17 years so as you can imagine,I have seen many teams. The team a Turks is one of the best I've seen in a long time. Everyone from the local employees to the CDV were wonderful. Always a smile and a hello. The team went out of their way to accommodate us which was very kind. I think the team enjoyed the presence that we brought to the village.
I really appreciate the fact that you have a training G.O. in the village. I think that's a great development. We used to do that with a program developed by Howard McCarley called the integration G.O. I always thought it was a great idea to have a training contract directly in the village.
I especially wanted to compliment a few G.O.'s that I thought really stood out. I'm sorry if I don't remember their names. The Lifeguard is a first season G.O. and she was amazing. Alway wanted to sit with us during meals and not go eat in the G.O. dining area. She spent time talking to people and always had a smile! Karen in the wine room was extremely kind as well. She remembered my name from the first day which I definately shows the personal touch that makes club med what it was, is, and always will be. The circus team was kind and professional. I have know Stephan Goudreau for many years and have done many seasons with him so I am very familiar with the circus and how a cohesive team works and they definitely fit the bill. The Resp. of the bar was great as well. I forgot her name but she was sooooo friendly. Always a huge smile and has really created a great bar team atmosphere. Last but not least, Acir! Well done on promoting him to CDV. What a nice human being. He brings an infectious positive attitude that really is reflected by the whole team. He seemed to genuinely be happy that our group was there. He always took the time to hang out and talk to us and people that were not in our group equally. Those were just a few but really, the whole team was great.
I just wanted to send you this note because I know nine times out of 10 the correspondence that you get is negative. I know it definitely helps the team to get responses like this and I think it's proper inappropriate to recognize good work when it is done.

What an incredible experience returning to Club Med Turkoise for the Ex-GO Reunion!

For those of us who have been part of Club Med, it is difficult to explain what it means to come back after so many years. Club Med was never simply a company or a place to work — it was a school of life, friendship, hospitality, teamwork and unforgettable human experiences.

From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed back into the Club Med family. The atmosphere throughout the reunion was exceptional: emotional, energetic, warm and full of the unique spirit that made so many of us fall in love with Club Med in the first place.

A very special thank you to Acir, Chef de Village, whose leadership, presence and genuine hospitality were remarkable. He made time for people, listened, connected with former G.O.s and represented exactly what Club Med leadership should be about: people, energy, professionalism and creating memorable experiences.

Congratulations also to the entire Turkoise team. Behind every successful event are people working incredibly hard, often behind the scenes, and their effort was evident throughout our stay.

After more than three decades in hospitality and hotel operations, I have experienced many hotels, resorts and organisations. Yet Club Med remains different. Buildings can be renovated, concepts can evolve and generations of G.O.s can change, but the most important element remains the same: the human connection.

Seeing old friends again, sharing memories, meeting today's generation of G.O.s and experiencing that legendary Club Med spirit once more was priceless.

We arrived as former G.O.s.

We left remembering that perhaps there is no such thing as a “former” G.O.

Once a G.O., always a G.O.

Love Club Med Turks and Caicos!

I love Club Med Turkoise! Although the rooms are very basic, the beach is incedible and the food is excellent. There are so many fun activitites every day. I have been here many times, but this trip was one the best because of several outstanding GOs. Tennis lessons in the morning with Augusto was so fun. He taught the game while making everyone comfortable, regardless of their level of play. Beach volleyball in the afternoon was my favorite activity. Playing with Timothee and Chavy was the highlight of my days. Their enthusiasm and positive energy were infectious. It was awesome to play with and against them. Can’t wait till next time.
