The Forehead Detective Game – challenging and fun!
This family game night activity is perfect for any age and will sure have the entire family laughing.
Instruct each participant to take a sticky note and secretly write down the name of any famous person, alive or dead, and fictional or non-fictional. Request that each person turn to the participant on their right and place their sticky note onto that person's forehead. It is very important that the person wearing the note remain in the dark about whose name is now adhering to their forehead. All participants will see the names stuck onto everyone else's forehead except their own. When everyone is named, expect a lot of giggling to start with!
Now the detective work begins, select a person to start the game by asking the other players a "yes" or "no" question geared toward helping them figure out whose name is stuck to their forehead, such as “Is the person an actor? Or is the person dead or alive? Etc.” As long as the questioner gets a "yes" response, they should continue to ask questions to help them discover more about the person they have been assigned. Once they receive a "no" response, the next person in the circle gets a chance to ask questions about the person stuck to their forehead. Continue going around the circle with participants asking "yes" or "no" questions until each participant correctly guesses the name on their forehead.
