Stanley Cup playoffs in Turks
My husband and I travelled to Club Med Tukoise April 2025.
The amazing stuff:
The beach and ocean are truly spectacular. The resort does a great job of planning a myriad of activities. The General Manager was always present at dinner and greeting guests.
The GO's were awesome. We went sailing with Eric and had a great experience. Wyatt was a fabulous bartender and cheered for the Winnipeg Jets with us. #gojetsgo The activities director (his name is escaping me) is friendly and engaging.
The Vibe: would say that there is very much a communal vibe to the place, more so than I have experienced at other resorts. We had a lot of fun watching the game with other hockey fans - even our rivals lol.
The great stuff: I was super nervous about only one dining option, but honestly, the food was pretty darn good. I love that they plate the entrees and salads as almost a "small bites" menu so that hundreds of people aren't touching all of the food. There was a good variety every night.
The housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the rooms every day.
The "meh" but not deal breakers - The resort is dated, especially the rooms. They did, however, feel clean. There was one shift of bartenders, during the day, that seemed pretty disinterested in serving anyone. oh well.
We are experienced travelers, seasoned all-inclusive guests, but first-time Club Med-ers. Turks is an expensive destination and, keeping that in mind, this was a good option for the value.

Club Med and Max are Amazing !
What a remarkable experience in paradise! Club Med was amazing and the best part of it was Maxime Olivier Bombardier. Max provided excellent hospitality at the resort and he knew everything about all aspects of the programs, festivities and most enjoyable features of Club Med. What an amazing person and fantastically committed worker. He is an excellent tennis player and coach! do yourself a favor and book your trip to visit Club Med and connect with Max while you are there.. it will change your life!

An Ocean Lover’s Dream: Sailing and Diving in Grace Bay
We first visited Club Med Turkoise in January 2024 and were so captivated that we returned in April 2025.
For us, the most memorable and even life-changing aspect of the experience was the complimentary sailing and snorkeling activities.
In 2024, the sailing team provided us with a 30-minute lesson on a Hobie Cat, allowing us to confidently sail on our own and immerse ourselves in the breathtaking colors of Grace Bay for the remainder of our stay. The 2025 team was different, yet equally friendly and accommodating, ensuring that our enjoyment of sailing continued uninterrupted.
Snorkeling was another highlight of our first visit. We participated in numerous free snorkeling sessions provided by Seafari, where we marveled at the vibrant marine life—schools of colorful fish, spotted rays, and even reef sharks (which are completely harmless). We were consistently impressed by the professionalism and warmth of the Seafari staff.
The main reason for our return to Club Med in 2025 was to take our underwater adventure even further—learning to scuba dive with the incredible Seafari team. Many of the same instructors in '24 remained for '25. While scuba diving and certification come at an additional cost, the experience was truly worthwhile. Our instructor, Anne, was an outstanding teacher, offering encouragement and patience that made an otherwise daunting task feel exciting and achievable and with her expert guidance, we successfully became PADI-certified divers.
Although we travel from London—a 12-hour flight—we would absolutely consider returning, primarily to deepen our diving experience.
Club Med Turkoise doesn’t offer lavish, marble-clad luxury or towering high-rises. Instead, it embraces a laid-back, bohemian village aesthetic. Some might find its simplicity a bit worn, but we appreciated the relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere.
As for the food, there was a good variety. We particularly loved the sushi, ceviche, tartare, and grilled fish. For those looking for more casual options, the main restaurant and Sharkies consistently served pasta, burgers, tacos and other simple yet satisfying meals.

Beautiful beach, Great food, Free Excursions, Rooms are great minus shower grout
April 2025 Club Med Turks & Caicos sister trip. Honest to goodness review.
TL:DR Fabulous, small rooms but clean, do excursions, love the beach, food was good, alcohol was plentiful, will go back
Arrival to resort is welcoming, they take your bags, offer some water or juice and give you your wristbands to wear the duration of the trip, they are your room key. You walk through the entrance and it is like walking into a playground. Comfy chairs, hightop tables, bar, and a gorgeous pool.
Download their app so you know what's going on and when. Take all the pictures you can. Do the selfies - even if you never share them with anyone else. These are memories you want to keep.
When walking you notice everything was clean, nothing out of place. Freestanding tables that are "cup drops". Waste baskets. Staff always mopping and sweeping up.
Rooms. I said honest 🙂 They are perfect for one or two persons, no more. Bed was two twins pushed together, so the crack was definitely noticeable. But, it was amazingly comfortable. Fridge is under the desk. Plenty of storage for hanging and putting suitcases away. Bathroom is different but kinda okay. Toilet is in a water closet. Nice when sharing the room for privacy. Shower...they really, really need to clean the grout. It made me not want to touch the sides. Showers were warm. They did provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion, but the holder prevents a decent squirt and it takes a lot of time to get a decent amount out. Balcony once, but I'll save the money next time. Housekeeping was excellent, don't forget to tip them. Mine included cans of Dasani water (which I'd never seen in a can), Coke, Diet Coke, Schwepps and Sprite. Also, the electric outlets in my room had both A and C plugs for your phone/tablets.
Entertainment was hit or miss. Do the karaoke/sing alongs with the 70's, 80's, 90's and 2000's music more! It was by far the best night. We really wish they'd do more of that. They did have karaoke at the main bar one night too, but the large capacity show was way better. Lots of acrobatics. Night of Legends was pretty neat. The energy these performers have is boundless!
Food was plentiful and there was a lot of variety. Sharkies has great grilled cheese, nachos, burgers and fish tacos. Bar there is good too. Main Bar is great, lots of drinks to choose from. Top Shelf alcohol will cost a little, but the free alcohol will do you just fine 🙂 Main dining has tons of options and is very good! Faves were beef Wellington, Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper and Swordfish. Salads and fruit at every meal. Desserts were mediocre, very gelatin based and not sweet... unless you got the chocolate brownie that almost made my fillings quake!
Staff were friendly, some more than others. We always felt safe and taken care of. They were right there to carry away any dishes at meals and refill our water. Greeting us in and out of the main dining area was very nice. Security walked through a lot as well. I never felt unsafe even walking alone at night back to my room.
Boutique was nice, pricey, and had different items. Shirts were about $45 a pop, but I knew I'd buy one so I planned for it. Maybe not the others I bought...haha.
Take advantage of the free excursions. We did snorkeling and it was awesome. First timer and when I put my goggles down and saw beneath the surface I was blown away. Absolutely recommend. Get a plastic waterproof cover for your phone, hit record and let the video roll. Boat ride was about 30 minutes each way and 45 minutes snorkeling. Did I mention it was free?
We did pay for one excursion, snorkeling and Iguana Island. Really glad we did it too. Snorkeled that time too at a different location and it was great. Did see a lemon shark at Iguana Island but it minded its business and we ours. Saw a few Iguanas, not too many, but it was good and their beaches were fantastic. Saw JoJo the dolphin on the ride!
Beach. Yes I saved this part for last. Drop Dead Gorgeous! I stopped in my tracks when I first got to the sand. The blues are nothing like I've seen before. Clearest water. First time in my life I actually swam and floated in the ocean water and I loved it. Get the floats with the net in the middle, trust me on this. Also bring some beach shoes. There are a few places with rocks (just a few but stubbing your toe hurts). Put on a hat and your sunglasses, slather up with sunscreen, bring a drink and you're set! We spent days out here, in and out between the water and the covered cabanas. (which need some love and nails, they are getting rough) The sand is beautiful, the water and the view are amazing.
I don't do a lot of places more than once, but this ClubMed is one on my list for sure.
We will watch for sales and come back again. Wonderful!
