Overlooking this sun-kissed spot at an altitude of 1,850 metres (6070 feet), this Club Med Resort invites its guests to experience the thrills of the longest black slope in Europe, while G.M®s whose priority is chilling out will love the panorama from the indoor heated pool.

A comfortable and elegant Club Room, located on all floors of the hotel.

You may wish to opt for an interconnecting Room or a Family Club Room in the Marmotte annexe, connected to the main hotel by a covered, heated walkway.

Main restaurant

The buffet restaurant at L'Alpe d'Huez La Sarenne is the perfect family venue for breakfast, lunch and dinner, indoors or on the terrace. Choose from a great selection of international dishes, and build up your strength before getting back onto the slopes.

The restaurant has air conditioning and tables for 4 to 8 people.
There is a Baby Corner and high chairs for our youngest guests.


The Marmottes

Les Marmottes serves delicious traditional Savoyard cuisine including fondue and pierrade. The restaurant has waiter service and high chairs are available for babies.
Booking is required in the evening, at Reception.

Price includes

Refreshing drinks such as water, fruit juices for the kids, cocktails with and without alcohol for the parents and an array of hot drinks are all included in your offer. If you're looking for a taste of local flavour, then opt for local spirits and wines to really immerse yourself in the culture. An international selection is also available as well as sweet and savoury snacks.

With supplement

Some drinks on the Resort are not included in your offer such as à la carte wines and champagne when you treat yourself to a nice meal, and drinks from super-premium brands. Vending machines are placed around some Resorts where you can pick up bottled and canned drinks all day and night (also from Club Med Boutiques). VSOP and XO spirits also come at an additional cost.

The main bar at Club Med L'Alpe d'Huez La Sarenne is the perfect place to recharge your batteries during a dynamic day on the slopes. Catch up with family and friends over midday snacks and drinks on the terrace, with stunning views over the valley.


The Nightclub bar

Night life is half the fun of a skiing vacation, and the nightclub bar at L'Alpe d'Huez La Sarenne is the perfect place to dance the night away to your favourite hits. You'll love the bar's hip but unpretentious atmosphere.

With the benefit of over 40 years' Club Med experience behind it, our Resort provides innovative clubs for children and teenagers:

- Dedicated areas specifically designed for their needs, and equipment designed with a view to comfort and safety

- Skiing or snowboard lessons given by professional ski instructors, creative activities and games for the different age groups

Mini Club Med® (4 to 10)

All is organized by our GOs to make sure your kids have an action packed vacation. On the program: activities and sports adapted to each age group.

L’Alpe d’Huez ski resort is located in one of France’s largest ski domains, with 237 km of Alpine skiing runs and 50 km of runs for cross-country skiing.

From L’Alpe d’Huez La Sarenne Club Med there are shuttles enabling you to explore the area, where you can discover:

L’Alpe d’Huez, with its beautiful modern church, Notre Dame des Neiges. Visit the ice cave with its fabulous ice sculptures and an altiport built for the 10th Winter Olympics held in Grenoble in 1968. Every year in January, there is also an international festival of comic films.

Many typical villages, such as Auris-en-Oisans, Huez-en-Oisans, La Garde, Oz-en-Oisans, Vaujany and Villard Reculas

Grenoble, one of the major towns in the Rhône Alpes region, is 59 km away. It has many churches and religious buildings, parks, concert halls and is renowned for its gastronomy.
