Inspire your very own Mini Michelangelos with this easy at-home recipe for moldable clay!
Ingredients: 1 cup of fine salt, 2 cups of flour, 1 cup of lukewarm water, food coloring or paint, molds (optional), a rolling pin and lots of imagination!
Steps: Combine the salt and flour into a bowl and mix. Begin adding the water slowly as you form a clay-like dough. Use your hands to roll the dough until you get the right consistency. If the dough is too crumbly, add water, if it sticks to your fingers, add a little flour.
Coloring: Use non-toxic food dyes when creating your clay to add color to the dough, or decorate with paint after your sculpture has fully dried.
Drying: Place in oven for 30 minutes at 180° F/80° C, or let dry for several days in a dry space.
