Michès Playa Esmeralda Dominican Republic

We had an amazing stay in Michès! It rained a LOT during our trip but not a single drop came into our room. The resort has fixed its drainage system and the renovated rooms are in excellent condition. The rooms are also quite spacious, especially compared to other Club Meds we have visited.

The food was great. The variety of tropical fruits was impressive and the avocados are the best we have ever had. We also loved enjoying fresh ceviches throughout the day. The Zen pool for adults was a perfect spot to relax in the afternoons with fresh smoothies and a quiet nap by the water.

The choice of activities was amazing from wind foiling to samba dancing as well as classic ones like fitness, tennis, and archery. The shows and parties in the evenings were filled with energy and great entertainment, especially the white party must not be missed!

Our kids had a blast at the Mini Club every day. They played tennis, archery, soccer, ping pong, mini golf, and trapeze, and of course had plenty of pool and beach time. We felt totally at ease leaving them with the Mini Club team. I visited a couple of times during their activities and they had a big smile on their face whether they were at the splash pad or playing soccer.

A huge shoutout to Chef de Village Theo and his amazing GO team!! Theo’s stage presence and dancing energy are truly mind-blowing! Olivia and Caroline were so welcoming even before we arrived and helped ensure our stay was perfect from start to finish. We also want to thank Abhi and Karim from the fantastic food and beverage team. We shared great meals and lovely moments with Bryan from housekeeping, Spencer the rookie from reception :), and Jacqueline from fitness at our dinner tables.

Special thanks to the sports manager Amine and his great team, especially the tennis team (Juan and Roman), the wind foil instructors, and Allan who led so many fun activities including jogging, power walk, volleyball, archery, and aqua gym.

We also enjoyed great coffee breaks, games, and dances with Simon, who brought such joy to the experience. Sanaa made my boutique experience delightful while I was searching for a swimsuit. Last but not least, to the entire Mini Club team—thank you for taking such good care of our kids and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

We went to Club Med Miches with the family. It is the best club med in my opinion. The staff are very attentive, activities do not end.
The food was very delicious.
Esther, a waitress at Coco Plum beach Lounge was very professional, excellent service, serves you with a smile, and made our family’s experience amazing.

As always, the food at Club Med was delicious. Our room was clean and spacious with a lovely deck and ocean view. We enjoyed the evening entertainment. Note, not much for a young adult (18-9) to do at the Club (activities were either too "old" or too young).
The beaches were gorgeous to look at with a mountain view. The far beach was a little mucky. The swimming beach was perfect.
Note, there were no sailboats at this location. (Husband very disappointed).
Lastly, about $6500 pesos (100 USD) was stolen from our room.
The money was in the safe. Manager promised to review (they have records of who accesses the safes in the rooms) and still has not contacted us (we stayed 3 weeks ago). Luckily, the thief left my jewelry.

A five star experience all around the food and activities and staff were all five star. The beach is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended. The staff and its white night experience was over the top good everyone was so interactive and energized.

I had an absolute blast at the Club Med Miches! I went with a friend of mine and we initially had some troubles with our room, but the staff were able to reorganize some business on their ends and moved us to a room that better suited us.

The real joy for me during our stay was the staff at Miches. I felt comfortably welcomed and made friends with so many of the team. A huge shoutout to my favourite djs Andro and Uriel that kept vibes strong, and made sure we were having fun!

We loved the food and service at Coco Plum too!

If you enjoy some lively dancing and entertainment after dinner make sure to go to the main bar each night. The entertainment managers lead you in dances that will leave you ready to grab delicious drink from the lovely bartenders.
