Climate
The weather is usually nice in the Bahamas : clear sky, sunny, cool breezes help to relieve the heat. Sea fronts may be cold from December to April. Cool nights in june. The hottest period is between may and the end of August - it is during this period that most of the rains fall ; however they will not spoil the GMs'holidays because most of the time they fall at the end of the day or during the night. The climate is then warm and damp. From September to the end of November : the air is dry. The archipelago of the Bahamas can be hit by hurricanes ; they generaly occur in September or in October but sometimes from August. Temperature of the sea : ----------------------- During Winter months the water is sometimes cool : 20-22 °C / 68-71,6 °F. In Summer the sea is very warm : its temperature can reach 29°C / 84,2°F in August.
