Chichen Itza and Valladolid (1 day)

Chichen Itzá… Is the worldwide most known pre-Columbian city in the northern Yucatán; it's astonishing monumental architecture tells the history of its occupation by the pre-Hispanic Maya and Toltec culture. The famous Kukulkan Pyramid, the largest Mesoamerican Ball Court and the Astronomical Observatory are only a few of the magnificent structures found within the site. Since 1988, Chichen Itza is a UNESCO World Heritage site. In 2007 it was elected as one of the New 7 Wonders of the world. Ex-Convent “San Bernardino de Siena”… Built in 1552 in the city of Valladolid, was the first seat of the Franciscan order in the Yucatan Peninsula. The convent is a testimony of the Maya evangelization at the time of the Spanish conquest. Later, it was used as an important strategic point during the Rebellion of the Yucatan native population against the white community; historically referred to as “The Cast War”. One day tour (7am – 6.30pm) ● Program of the day:
Morning visit of the famous Archeological site of Chichen Itza (3 hour guided tour)
Enjoy Lunch at the restaurant “Villa Arqueologica Chichen Itzá” next to the site. The onsite pool is available for a refreshing swim! (aprox. 1 hour)
Afternoon visit to the Ex Convent “San Bernardino” in Valladolid; between historical past and present Yucatecan lifestyle.(aprox. 1 hour guided tour) For your information:

Coba and Cenote (1 day)

This excursion by bike will allow you to visit the very extensive site of Coba, discover its most secret treasures hidden deep within the jungle.

Swim in a natural decor of stalactites at the Cho-Ha Cenote.

Lunch followed by a meeting with a Mayan family.

Ek Balam and Ria Lagartos (1 D)

Ek Balam
The most recent unearthed Maya site in the Yucatan Peninsula, containing some of the finest Maya artistic works and one of the most astonishing monuments in the Maya World, known as “Acropolis”, still accessible to reach to its top location!
Ria Lagartos
The Biosphere Reserve at the Gulf of Mexico in the Northern coast of the Yucatan is one of the most important breeding areas of the Pink Flamingo in North America. Throughout the entire year hundreds of individuals of this elegant bird can be observed in their natural habitat. More than 300 other bird species find ideal feeding and nesting grounds in this protected area. For your information:

Playa del Carmen (1/2d)

In the heart of the “Riviera Maya”, 35 miles south of Cancun, the bohemian flare of this coastal town is fascinating every visitor. Strolling along its traffic free Main street “Quinta Avenida”, seemed with small boutiques, bars, cafés and restaurants, all uniquely decorated and only seconds from the beach, sets everyone in vacation mode.

Swim with the dolphins (1/2D)

A dream come true…the encounter with these gentle and intelligent sea mammals is a once in a lifetime experience. Different programs and times are available. The tour includes besides the dolphin encounter the many water attractions the Wet’n Wild Park has to offer.

Xcaret Park (1 day)

Xcaret is an amusement park where you can enjoy a host of activities: explore the underground river, visit the sea turtle sanctuary, the aquarium or the butterfly pavillion. In the evening you can see one of Mexico's finest folklore shows.
