The Resort
As if suspended halfway between sea and sky amid the calm of the maquis scrubland humming with cicadas, lies an estate overhanging a rocky headland surrounded by clear water: welcome to Sant'Ambroggio.
The coastline between Calvi and Ile Rousse is littered with inlets like pearls along a necklace of beaches. The hinterland is full of Corsican treasures, making this a hiking as well as a sailing paradise, but you can also choose to spend your days at a lazier pace, comfortably installed on one of the solarium loungers at the sea's edge or by the pool, surrounded by a hedge of umbrella pines.
Parks & Gardens
The resort lies in a unique setting between sea and mountains. The gardens consist mainly of laurels, mimosas, roses and a number of hardy plants dotted with pines and acacias.
Beach
The public beach stretches for 80 metres below the village. Marked swimming area. The beach is equipped with deckchairs, parasols and showers.

Here, the winds blow from all four corners of the world; there's the Libecciu, the Mistral, the Tramontane, the Levante, the Sirocco... The conditions are ideal for sailing. I found out just how enjoyable it really can be to whizz across the water on the single-hulled boats!
