The Resort
In Itaparica, amidst the tropical greenery that is home to iguanas and shimmering colored birds, lies a Resort combining African exoticism with South American exuberance.
A glittering array of activities, such as sailing, tennis and golf, await your days on this island, which is just an hour's boat ride away from Salvador de Bahia in the North East of Brazil.
In the evenings, the fine sandy beach is the ideal place for throwing yourself into the wild rhythms of the samba or listening to a Bahian percussion group, before wandering back to one of the comfortable bungalows dotted throughout the coconut grove.
Parks & Gardens
Gardens consisting of tropical vegetation and large areas of lawn. A number of water features and subtle lighting adorn this landscape.
Beach
This is a public beach of fine white sand which stretches for 300 m. Gently sloping shoreline means coral barrier can be reached while within depth (it is advisable to wear shoes to walk through the water due to the amount of coral reaching the shore). There may be a high tidal difference with sea receding up to around 200 metres. This beach is equipped with deckchairs, showers and a beach bar.

Put it in your luggage: pens, crayons, paint brushs, paints, paper, rulers, back packs,books...for the "Escola Construir o Saber" school.If you wish to donate formula for babies, or any children and babies hygienic products ( shampoo, diapers,tooth brush...), games and accessories for children, we will distribute them to the pre school "Lar Maria da Gloria".The two institutions are located in the fishing village a few miles from the resort of Itaparica.
