The Resort
In the distance, the slopes of the Batur volcano, cut into terraced rice fields. At your feet, lie clear waters and fine sandy beaches. The renovated Resort of Bali is one of Club Med®'s most beautiful,an Indian Ocean pearl set in the Sunda archipelago.
By the side of the pool, designer Marc Hertrich has created a lounge bar with contemporary lines,an ideal location to meet up with your friends and family. He was inspired by the Balinese architecture to rethink the Spa*,into a serene village, amid calming gardens.Under the pergolas, the new ambiances of the restaurant promise devine moments with your family.

Beach
Located 300 feet from the Resort, the public beach stretches a distance of half a mile and has a marked swimming area.
The upper part of the beach consists of fine yellow sand, while the lower part, visible when the tide goes out, is sprinkled with rocks. Swimming is recommended while the tide is coming in, because the reef is completely exposed at low tide.
The beach is located between natural stone dykes, which protect the beaches from the waves and currents. Waves can only appear during spring tides or storms. The reef (100 feet) facing the Club Med Resort offers a surfing site (Matahari Break) with superb left break waves for surf lovers.
The beach is equipped with showers, deckchairs and bamboo parasols.
Bales (small Indonesian-style shelters) with mattresses are also available.
