Foundation Corners for G.Ms to make donations in kind
In order to meet an ever growing need by G.Ms wishing to participate in charitable activities, the Club Méditerranée Foundation, whose mission relies on voluntary work by its employees, has created specific areas for donations in kind by G.Ms.
The first Foundation Corners were created in 2006 in Senegal in Almadies and Cap Skirring Villages and in Agadir in Morocco.
Others opened in September 2007 in Marrakech, Morocco then, in 2008, in Pointe aux Canonniers in Mauritius, Cancun in Mexico, Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic and Luxor in Egypt and, finally, in 2009 in Phuket, Thailand and in Itaparica, Brazil. Recently, in 2010, a Foundation Corner was created in Djerba la Douce in Tunisia.
And a Foundation Corner will be created in any new Club Med Village near local populations in need.
How do we involve our clients?
European clients are informed, via their convocation or holiday rendez-vous sent three weeks before departure or via www.clubmed.fr/lafondation, of local requirements for books, school materials and baby goods.
These requirements are identified, upstream, by the Foundation in collaboration with an association, a school or an institution located near the Village and with which it has an agreement for a minimum of three years. Located at the heart of the Excursions Offices in the Villages, these Foundation Corners are equipped to receive the materials brought by G.Ms.
